I need to win the lottery.

It's always like this. Like this!

I save my money and then I need to choose. I can't have it all. What happened to the days when I wouldn't even care and bought concert tickets as if I printed money?

Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, The Click Five. And that's what I remember off the top of my head.

It didn't matter if I didn't know the entire repertoire of the artist. I just had to like the hit singles and that would be enough impetus for me to go buy a ticket. That, and of course, the thought of being able to boast to others that I've been to who-and-who's concerts. Muahaha.

But now that I am older, and hopefully wiser, I know that I do not print money. I have to carefully choose where I want my money to go, so that I will be able to pay for responsibilities/needs (the damned ST subscription, my CPF education loan, etc etc), my wants (SS4 Seoul), and my dreams (which will empty my bank account).

So. Here's the problem.

February: Super Show 4 Singapore - about $350, since I am paying for half my mom's ticket too.
March: Vietnam (Halong Bay) trip - about $800, and that's budget airline we're talking; I DETEST budget.
April: Hong Kong trip - about $1000, again budget; GARH
May: Super Show 4 Tokyo - about $2000, and this is wishful thinking; I just want to watch a concert at the Tokyo Dome and SJ happens to be holding SS4 there!!
June: Jason Mraz SEA promo tour - about $1000, this isn't even confirmed, just rumours flying about, but Mraz, why are you making me fly all around the world to watch you?!
June/July/August: World Expo in Yeosu, Korea - about $500, I'd be damned if I don't go for this one!

Oh, they just announced Foo Fighters too. I don't know most of their songs, but this is Dave Grohl you're talking about. Foo freaking Fighters. It's tempting, but I no longer go for concerts just cos I like one or two songs very much. And I don't do the boasting thing anymore. Those tickets should go to real, true fans. Just sayin'.

Let's not forget Wang Lee Hom, who has yet to announce his Singapore date. Same case as Foo Fighters.

As I am typing this, the radio is playing I Wanna Be Rich by Calloway. No kidding.

I need to *NOT* be broke!!! I need that money for other more important things in my life!!!

I HAVE TO CHOOSE AND I HATE THAT.

Super Show 4 in Singapore. No Tokyo. I've already done the Seoul leg. I'll watch something else at the Tokyo Dome another time.

Vietnam or Hong Kong? I've never been to Vietnam. But what about Hong Kong with my lecturers who I might not be able to meet again in my life? And let's not forget the World Expo, it's on the way. Oh, but what about the money I need for my dream?!

Mraz. Why, Mraz? You better have a show in Korea so I can slot you in with the World Expo.

GARH.

Life is so difficult. Lol.
